Robots are a valuable asset for productivity, but we must take safety seriously whenever we&#8217;re near automated equipment, like palletizers and de-palletizers.<\/p>\n<p>We all play a role in keeping things safe. Here are some tips to keep in mind:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Know the Rules<\/strong>: Familiarize yourself with safety standards and protocols at your location\u2014especially those involving human-machine interaction.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Stay Aware<\/strong>: Only partially rely on sensors to detect human presence. Sensors are an added layer, but they need to be foolproof.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Check Safety Features<\/strong>: If any safety features malfunction, report them to your supervisor immediately.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Never Bypass Safety Devices<\/strong>: If a machine jams, notify maintenance and safety; don&#8217;t attempt a DIY fix.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Stay Alert to Your Environment<\/strong>: Regularly remind yourself of protocols and safety zones around automated equipment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As always &#8211;
