It&#8217;s based around exactly what the name implies &#8211; Warehouse Safety Tips. And since the people in that industry are busy &#8211; we know time is money, so each episode will be as short and to the point as possible.<\/p>\n<p>And now that all that is out of the way &#8211; let&#8217;s get to the Podcast!<\/p>\n<p>Do you know the official motto of the United States Coast Guard?\u00a0 It&#8217;s the Latin Phrase &#8211; Semper Paratus (puh-rey-tuh\u2009s) &#8211; which means &#8220;Always Ready&#8221;.\u00a0\u00a0 If you&#8217;re not familiar with it &#8211; you might know the Boy Scout&#8217;s Motto &#8211; &#8220;Be Prepared&#8221;.\u00a0\u00a0 Both provide a ready for anything mindset.<\/p>\n<p>When you see an armed guard, a defibrillator, and\/or a Fire Extinguisher &#8211; it doesn&#8217;t mean there&#8217;s a crime occurring, someone&#8217;s having a heart attack, and\/or there&#8217;s a fire.\u00a0 What it means is that the location you&#8217;re in is prepared in the event it should happen.\u00a0 But you can&#8217;t always know what&#8217;s coming.<\/p>\n<p>For the last several weeks &#8211; I&#8217;ve mentioned the fact that we&#8217;re in the midst of the Coronavirus Pandemic.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve also mentioned that it&#8217;s not an evergreen practice by mentioning it &#8211; but it&#8217;s brought about so many changes that it&#8217;s almost impossible not to.<\/p>\n<p>In past Podcasts &#8211; we spoke about why certain floor markings and signs are displayed.\u00a0 Sometimes it&#8217;s preventive &#8211; but other times, it&#8217;s because it&#8217;s actually occurred enough times that it has to warned about potentially happening.<br \/>\nAnd even though cleanliness should ALWAYS be something we practice &#8211; this Coronavirus Pandemic is one of those situations where the floor markings and signs follow the situation.<\/p>\n<p>Whether it&#8217;s being told how close we&#8217;re supposed to stand near one another via Social Distancing, being reminded to wash our hands and how to properly sneeze and cough, and\/or the importance of using hand sanitizer and protective gear &#8211; we&#8217;re seeing new Safety Floor Markings and Signs more and more.<\/p>\n<div>Before moving on &#8211; here&#8217;s a word from one of our sponsors.<\/div>\n<div>If you&#8217;ve ever been to or worked in a warehouse &#8211; you know just how important safety is to both management and staff.
