is not getting out on the floor and\/or not regularly speaking with the staff that works on the floor.<\/div>\n<div><!--block--><\/div>\n<div><!--block-->I call it a trap because:<!--block--><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><!--block-->If you really want to know what&#8217;s happening at your facility &#8211; you have to leave your office.\u00a0 And NOT just via a fly by &#8211; but hopping right into the action.<\/li>\n<li><!--block-->When it comes to ideas, you want to get &#8217;em from contributors outside of management.\u00a0 And just like getting out into your facility &#8211; get invested in what your staff tells you.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><!--block-->The 3rd S of the 5S Methodology is Shine &#8211; but it goes WAY beyond what it SOUNDS like, which is cleaning.\u00a0 Improvement of the efficiency and safety processes within your facility is also part of it.\u00a0 And when you combine the 5th S of the 5S Methodology (Sustain), you&#8217;re not just maintaining &#8211;
