And since the people in that industry are busy &#8211; we know time is money, so each episode will be as short and to the point as possible.<\/p>\n<p>And now that all that is out of the way &#8211; let&#8217;s get to the Podcast!<\/p>\n<p>When you hear the saying &#8220;Safe From Head To Toe&#8221; &#8211; what comes to mind?<\/p>\n<p>As it pertains to this Podcast, we&#8217;re talking about everything you wear to keep you safe at work.<\/p>\n<p>This can be a myriad of items &#8211; especially when you include the Covid Pandemic we&#8217;re currently in. So to keep the list manageable &#8211; we&#8217;ll cover the essentials.<\/p>\n<p>Head | Hard Hat. Wearing one will help you avoid bumping your head directly and\/or having items fall on it.<\/p>\n<p>Eyes | Safety Glasses and\/or Shields. These will help you avoid damage to your eyes and\/or harmful particles affecting them.<\/p>\n<p>Ears | Plugs and\/or Muffs. Even the most undetectable sounds can damage your hearing over time. Wearing these will help prevent that.<\/p>\n<p>Nose and Mouth | Masks and\/or Respirators. This is a PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) that has become all too familiar as of late. They&#8217;re used to avoid breathing in harmful fumes and particles present in the air.<\/p>\n<p>Chest and Back | Reflective Vests, Harnesses, and\/or Braces. These items help support you, keep you from falling, and\/or assure people can see you clearly.<\/p>\n<p>Hands | Gloves. Whether it&#8217;s hot, cold, rough, and\/or sharp surfaces &#8211; these will help keep your hands safe.<\/p>\n<p>Body | Apparel. This can include everything from flame retardant, heat resistance, hazmat, and\/or general uniform to avoid you ruining your personal clothes.<\/p>\n<p>Feet | Safety Boots. Generally, steel-toed and slip-resistant &#8211; these will help you maintain your footing and help avoid damage to your feet.<\/p>\n<p>As always this was just a high-level look at all the various PPE we utilize to stay safe and avoid injury.<\/p>\n<p>And although they&#8217;re associated with different parts of the body &#8211; they work in symphony together.
